The past five years has seen GHM become more involved in the hire sector.

We have supplied equipment with and without operators to many prolific projects all over the world.  This is usually on a medium to long-term hire period basis.  Most type of construction equipment can be offered.  If we do not have the specific type of machinery required within our fleet, we source it in minimum time and in some instances, new from the manufacturer.

As well as construction equipment, we are also able to offer trucks and trailers.  We pride ourselves on being one of very few UK companies who provide a heavy haulage equipment hire service which include tractor units - up to 250 tons capacity - and most types of special transport trailers, from general plant semi trailers with ramps to steerable and extendable low loader trailers.  

Further to this we offer, together with our sister company in Scandinavia, the hire of specialist windmill transportation equipment such as wing/blade trailers extendable to 65 metres in length and modular trailers for the transport of nacelles and tower sections.
